Hello Robert - thank you for contacting me. I have very little information regarding James McIver all I know is Port Division Devonport. Royal Navy. JX 288884. I have seen a photograph of James and also of his 4 medals. The quality of the photograph is extremely poor and one cannot read any inscription.

Robert, again please accept my gratitude for all your research on James McIver. We certainly do not have much information on him to assist with any research. I tried to cut and paste the photo of him and the medals and what little details I have on James but was unsuccessful.

I will see if I can locate any further details.

Kind regards
