In the absence of advice from TP I thought I would share what I do if I do not know Birth Dates, but do know the Birth Order of a family.

In edit mode you can put the Birth Order to each child by pulling down the 'Unknown' box - see it under where you usually write in the Birth Info. Under that Birth Order 'Unknown' tab, you will find the choice to change it to... 'Only Child', 'Born First', 'Born Second'... etc. to 'Born Last'.

That is how you can manually order the children into the right order when you do not know all or some of the birth dates.

Note that I sent you a detailed reply over 2 weeks ago about how you can use the 'BIRTH ORDER' tab in Edit Mode as you add profiles without birth info.
